Apply for aftercare for young adults after the end of full-time care

Do you still need advice and support from your foster parents after the formal termination of your full-time foster care arrangement as part of the support for young adults program? Here you can find out where and how you can access this support.

Detailed description

If your full-time foster care arrangement with your foster parents formally ends as part of the support for young adults program, you can take advantage of aftercare.

Aftercare is intended to provide you with sufficient support to enable you to lead a self-determined, independent, and socially viable life in the future. This can also include support for a return to your family of origin or adoption.

In addition, follow-up care can also be provided by your previous foster parents.

The follow-up support provided by the youth welfare office responsible for you will be provided in a form that is understandable, comprehensible and perceptible for you.
