Detailed description
If you take in young people with special educational needs as part of your full-time care, you are entitled to advice and support. This applies even if the young person does not receive any educational support or integration assistance. Even if you, as a close relative, do not require a care permit, you are entitled to this advice and support.
Due to their impaired emotional, mental, and/or physical development, these young people require close and intensive support from their foster families. Building a stable, trusting relationship is crucial to this.
In order to successfully and long-term meet these requirements of a foster family, you will receive professional advice and support from specialists with proven expertise.
Continuous, specialist advice and support for foster care relationships helps to stabilize your foster family in the long term.
