Detailed description
The General Social Services (ASD) is a central public contact point for children, young people, families, and guardians in Hamburg. As part of the Youth Welfare Office, it provides support with social, family, and educational issues and crises. The goal is to find solutions together, provide assistance, and protect the well-being of children.
You can contact the ASD if you are experiencing a difficult family situation or need support with parenting. The ASD is also available to advise you in the event of a separation or divorce, questions about your child's care and development, or general uncertainties in everyday family life. If you suspect a child is at risk, you can also contact them – anonymously if you wish. Adolescents and young adults can also contact the ASD directly with their own problems or in emergencies. Counseling is voluntary and confidential.
