If you want to settle something related to an estate, you must contact the probate court. The probate court is the right place for you if, for example, you
- You need a certificate of inheritance to prove your right to inherit.
- Would you like to deposit or have a will opened? Wills can be submitted in person at any time or sent by mail to the probate court. No appointment is necessary.
- If you do not wish to accept (reject) an inheritance or require a certificate of executorship, please make an appointment in advance.
