If you wish to apply for or renew a freight transport driver's license or a passenger transport driver's license, you must provide proof of your medical fitness to perform these activities. A doctor must examine you. The examination is intended to ensure that you are capable of driving a vehicle safely.

  • You independently search for an examination center (occupational or company medical practice) approved in accordance with Section 11 Paragraph 9 in conjunction with Annex 5 of the Driving Licence Regulation (FeV) and arrange an appointment for the examination.
  • You have the medical examination carried out
  • The doctor will issue a report on your medical suitability.
