There are 7 registry offices in Hamburg, each of which is assigned to one of the city’s 7 districts.
Each of these registry offices is responsible for registering births, marriages, and deaths in their respective districts. In addition, many registry offices offer wedding ceremonies at special locations outside the registry office building.
