The following elections are held regularly in Hamburg:

In addition, referendums and citizens’ votes may be held.

Processing time

To process postal votes and maintain the electoral register, election offices or voting centers are usually set up six weeks before election day and voting day. Application processing begins with the establishment of the offices.
