Music lovers can look forward to another edition of the Internationales Musik Festival Hamburg. Artists from Hamburg, Germany, Europe and the world join forces to perform concerts, ranging from all-time classics to contemporary compositions.
Previous editions of the festival have included: performances of Beethoven’s 'Missa Solemnis' by the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra; the Verdi Requiem performed by the choir and orchestra of the Scala opera house in Milan; arias by American mezzo soprano Joyce DiDonato; concert performances from the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra; and even world premieres, such as that of Jan Dvořák’s Gothic opera Frankenstein.
