The in Molfsee comprises聽40 hectares of meadows, gardens, dikes and over 70 historic buildings, farms and mills typical for the region of聽Schleswig-Holstein.聽Here, visitors can explore what聽daily life was like in a typical聽Schleswig-Holstein village. Basket weavers, smiths, turners, woodworkers and beekeepers demonstrate their activities in various buildings, and farms still house the types of animals that would have been around at the time. At the historic pharmacy and adjacent herb garden visitors gain insight聽into the medicinal practices of the time. The area also houses a聽playground, restaurant and museum shop.
