The (Museum f眉r Kunst & Gewerbe聽鈥斅燤K&G) is one of the most important museums of applied arts in Europe. Its collection includes artifacts from the ancient world to the present and encompasses 4000 years of聽European, Islamic and Asian cultures.
The museum was opened in 1877 and聽is located in a neo-renaissance palace. Inside, you鈥檒l find several floors on which 聽arts and crafts, interior design and photography from Europe, the Middle East and Asia are displayed. The permanent collection spans all time periods from the ancient world to the present day, and includes changing exhibitions about modern and contemporary culture.
