Stadtfest St. Georg

A celebration of St. Georg's diversity and creativity, this street festival boasts plenty of stands, shows and culinary delights.

AHOI Events

The quarter of St. Georg is known for its cultural diversity and welcoming vibe. The annual street festival along the Lange Reihe street reflects this perfectly. Regardless of heritage, religion, nationality or sexual identity — all are explicitly welcome to enjoy the weekend’s festivities.

Heart of the action is the Lange Reihe street where countless stands, often flying the rainbow flag, present the neighbourhood’s offerings of handicrafts, snacks, coffee and drinks, as well as information about local organisations, clubs and initiatives. The weekend’s entertainment programme never disappoints either: the Culture Stage on Carl-von-Ossietzky square is reserved for St. Georg’s best dancers and musicians, while the Newcomer Stage hosts up-and-coming bands from the greater Hamburg area.

And of course there is the annual flea market along Baumeisterstrasse street where bargain-hunters can browse to their heart's content. Families will have a blast at the Lange Reihe / Schmilinskystrasse intersection, where attractions like a giant bouncing castle, water balls and a bungee trampoline await.
